Kempville Beverages means “Kempegowdas Village”
Our company is proudly named after Nadaprabhu Kempegowda (1513–1569), the visionary founder of Bengaluru. Kempegowda was not only a brave chieftain under the Vijayanagara Empire but also a farsighted city planner who laid the foundation of modern Bengaluru in 1537 by establishing a fort, markets, and an innovative lake system for water security.
He is remembered as a symbol of foresight, resilience, and inclusive growth, values that continue to inspire us. By adopting his name, we honor his legacy of building sustainable communities and thriving trade, and we commit ourselves to carrying forward his spirit of vision and progress in everything we do.

At Kempville, our story is rooted in a shared passion for tea and a vision to redefine the standards of the tea packaging industry.
Founded by two visionaries – a seasoned professional with decades of 360 degree experience in tea operations and a young, dynamic entrepreneur with a strong background in marketing and clinical research – Kempville was built on the idea of blending tradition with innovation. Together, they recognized the opportunity to bring innovation into a global marketplace that is steeped in tradition yet lacking in modern facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure, and set out to deliver modern, world-class packaging solutions to a global tea industry rooted in tradition.

Our founders, with decades of experience in the tea sector, saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between high-quality tea production and state-of-the-art packaging solutions. Despite India being one of the largest producers of tea globally, the packaging landscape remained underdeveloped. We set out to change that.

Elevating Premium Tea with Wooshin Technology
A key component of Kempville Beverages’ manufacturing infrastructure is its Wooshin pyramid tea-bag machine, designed for the automated production of pyramid tea bags. The machine incorporates systems for filter-material feeding, product filling, forming and ultrasonic sealing, supporting a consistent and controlled production process.
The machine also features automated weighing and filling controls, along with ultrasonic sealing mechanisms for the horizontal and vertical sealing processes.
The integration of Wooshin’s advanced pyramid tea-bag machinery reflects Kempville’s focus on strengthening its manufacturing infrastructure and expanding its capabilities in premium tea-bag production.

Ujjal Ghosh
Founder & CEO, Kempville Beverages Pvt. Ltd.Mr. Ujjal Ghosh, the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Kempville Beverages Pvt. Ltd., brings with him over four decades of comprehensive operational experience from the tea industry. His career spans across tea exports, imports, shipping, logistics and global supply chain, quality control, packaging, and end-to-end operational management. Has held senior leadership positions in reputed front line tea companies.
Throughout his career, he has successfully managed large-scale global export operations, contributed to new product development, tea curation and blending, and driven strategic sourcing for natural foods. Has actively represented the industry through trade associations, international conventions, and trade delegations, playing a key role in strengthening the global trade of tea. Professionally certified in shipping management, export marketing, multimodal transport, and effective marketing management. Academically, he is a B.A. (Hons) graduate in English from St. Edmond’s College and holds Advanced Management Development diploma from IIM Kolkata.
Under his leadership, Kempville Beverages Pvt. Ltd., incorporated in May 2025 in Bangalore, Karnataka, is setting up a state-of-the-art facility for contract packaging and private labelling for tea and herbal products, whilst also steering the company towards excellence in tea exports, sourcing, and value-added beverage solutions for global markets.
Divya Chandhradhara
Managing Director & Co-Founder, Kempville Beverages Pvt. Ltd.Mrs. Divya Chandhradhara is a Bangalore-based first-generation entrepreneur and researcher with a strong foundation in science and business. She holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and an MBA, bringing together academic excellence and managerial expertise.
With over a decade of experience in the clinical and preclinical research industry, she has authored more than 16 publications in reputed international journals. She has also been conferred the Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH), London, an esteemed society with a Royal Charter and the Queen as its Patron.
Prior to founding BioAgile Therapeutics, Mrs. Divya worked with Advinus Therapeutics (a TATA enterprise), managing both domestic and international business operations. Over the years, she has established strong collaborations with leading multinational companies and academic institutions.
She is the Managing Director & Co-Founder of Kempville Beverages Pvt. Ltd. and also serves as the Founder & CEO of BioAgile Therapeutics Pvt. Ltd., a company she started five years ago that has since forged partnerships with premier government institutions such as IIT and BARC. She has also served as Director of several other companies, including ADSO Naturals Pvt. Ltd.
Mrs. Divya continues to be recognized as a dynamic leader, combining scientific expertise with entrepreneurial vision to build impactful businesses.
